Hi,

For decoupage sheets I like to use a lightweight (around 128 gsm gives a good result) good quality matte finish decoupage paper.

For the backgrounds have fun and experiment with the papers and cards you print onto. Try plain, pearlised, textured, parchment, tracing paper, thin card, textured card, fuzzy paper, inkjet printable shrink plastic, magnetic backed paper, printable cotton, silk and linen (these are backed with removable paper to allow you to print onto them).

In fact if your printer can take it then try it and mix and match the textures and backgrounds in your craft projects.

** Have fun! **
