Hello everyone

One of the files from my latest purchase from C-U-P is in GSD format. I had no idea when I selected it that it was a different format, or that it was for use with a Craftrobo.

I have googled 'GSD Converter' but haven't be able to find a programme that will convert GSD files to another format - preferably JPEG.

Can someone please help me?

Am I to understand that you do not have a Digital cutter? What file did you purchase.

Hi Susan

If you can ask whoever you purchased the GSD from, thye should be able to convert it to a PDF for you to cut out by hand. If not, I could see if I could open it up in my software to convert it for you (I design both cutting files AND printable sheets), but it would have to be the same version of the software as my own (I use the older version of the software that makes all my designs compatible to all versions of the software, but some designers only have the newer version and they can only be opened in the newer software)

But I digress, ask the original designer to convert it for you, if they can't, ask me and I will see if I can open it and do it for you.

Thanks for replying Hazel. The fan was designed by Clive Couter so I will start another thread and ask him if he can concert it for me.

No problem Susan, if the original designer can't, I'll see if I can.

If you see any of my GSD files that you'd like to have a go at cutting by hand PM me and I will convert them to PDF for you (some of them are VERY intricate though, so would be quite tricky to cut by hand, others wouldn't be so much of a problem)
