New Designer

I have just become a new designer. Yipeeeee! but I am having a problem uploading any sheets. I tried to upload one tonight but I got an error message saying there was a problem with the server. Do you think it was my document or the actual server. The other thing I need to know is do I have to upload 10 sheets to begin with or can I upload less. Do I need to open a paypal account and if I do is there somewhere you need to supply that information to.

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks
Annelies

Congratulations!!
Yes you have to open a Pay Pal account.
You need to go to Pay Pal site and do that there.
You will need to open the account with an email address as that is where they will direct payments too. So make sure its an email addy that is
one that you will keep and is secure.
I can't remember if they allow freebie ones like hotmail, yahoo or not.

I thought actually that that info was in the application, so I'd say once you've opened it you'll need to send the info to Rob.

I only uploaded 3 for my first lot of uploads, so I guess there is no limit or requirement........other than to do so within a month of the account being opened.........but you should find all that in your Designer Manual.

I printed that out and have it on the desk so i can keep referring to it.

If you are getting an error on the uploads, check that you don't have any symbols like ' - / : etc in the file name. And make sure it is a .zip file not an .rar file.
If you keep having problems open a ticket (in the contact us on the site itself, not here) and they'll help you.
Then again they could be working on servers too I guess. lol

Believe me as a newbie myself they have been so much help when I've put in tickets.

Good luck .....look forward to seeing your sheets!!

Yes, PayPal allows freebie sites like Yahoo, as that is the one I have been using for over 10 years with them and have had no problem.
