Hi Mary, in Photoshop once you've designed your seamless tile you set it as a pattern by going to edit/save pattern

Ohh I see .... sorry I'd thought you knew how to do that bit! lol I'm on my iPhone at the moment so I'm doing this from memory but I think it's edit/fill/pattern in Photoshop.

I use photoshop Mary so I'm not familiar with GIMP. But if you PM me. I'll give you a site that will be able to help you.

You must have a tool that looks like a paintbucket or something.....most graphic programs do, they just call it something different.

I'd say select that tool, then somewhere you must be able to select your colours, beit they are solid colours, patterns or gradients. Your tile would be in the patterns if it shows up anything you have open at the time.

Otherwise......maybe you need to save the tile to a folder where your patterns are in the program and then use the tool to fill your sheet.

I don't use GIMP but in a roundabout way all graphics proggys do the same thing..........you just have to find out how its done in each one.

Good luck with it.
