help sample image size

i would like to become a designer i have bought some templates and made up some sheets with them but when i go to print a sample copy to see if everything is right the image is very small instead of fitting the page i have used the width height ect guide lines could someone please tell me why they dont fit page and how to sort the problem

Have you got the page in your design software set to the same size and resolution as your printer?

What type of printer are you using. I had this problem when I changed to my epson 1400. I still get this happening but only when I select a certain paper. Maybe try selecting a different paper type. The other thing it could be is that you have selected millimeters instead of centimeters for the size of the document. What software are you using. Lets us know how you are getting on.
