There must be an exclusive designer section that us new designers and the standard designers can not see. Maybe after the six month trial period is over some new things will open up for us new designers.

So unless one is an exclusive to CUP designer then you wont have access to them.

There are several different designer forums Deborah.
The exclusive designers, the new standard designers and the old standard designers who used to be premier designers.
Thought I'd explain that in case, any new designers wondered why we didn't contribute to your discussions or requests for help. It's because we're not allowed access to the same forums.

Thanks, Janet! It all seems very complicated and I can't see anywhere that explains it as you have done. It's a bit of a catch 22, the new designers are probably the very people who could do with seeing the tutorials to help them learn & improve!

It's never been explained anywhere Kate, we just discovered this by accident, as designers do talk together on facebook etc.
I contributed a letter which designers could use if they wished, when contacting artists, to request permission for graphics usage. Exclusive designers can access it, but I can't!! It was meant to help everyone in the designing community, not just a select few.

That seems a shame, Janet. Wonderful as it is here at cup, we do seem to be segregated into different groups. I am really enjoying trying my hand at designing, & everyone is very helpful, but it does seem a shame we are unable to access some of the info which could help us to improve our skills.
