Question neilb

I have been impressed with some of the cutting files for sale but dont have a machine.
What can you recommend to me the machines that do this intricate cutting and also the price range i would have to pay.
By the way this site is brilliant.

Hi Neilb and welcome to our one big happy family. There are a lot of different machines out there craft robo being one they also have a new one called cameo which by all accounts is bigger therefore you can use larger card on it.I suppose it really depends what you are looking for and how much you wish to pay.I bought myself a robo this time last year on impulse and have never used it.I paid £234 for it......If you decide that the robo is for you I am looking to sell mine for £150.As I said before I have never used it so it is brand new still in box.It has all the necessary attachments and software even the spray adhesive that is needed to hold the card in place while it is being cut.It is the cc330-20 model.

craft robo

Hi Faith,
Thanks for your excellent offer but i believe that that model is a digtal electronic cutter and i am looking for a manual one.
Its also nice to know that there is plenty of help out there as i have just been card crafting since july of this year.
I was given a Texture Boutique as a gift so i would like something which can die cut to compliment it.

AHHHH!!! It's a die cutter you are looking for??? Well I have a big shot and a cuttlebug. The big shot is the most popular but you can also get the excalibur which is also very popular and you can cut bigger dies with it as it takes A4 size sheets.Be warned though the dies for that are a lot more expensive.I would go for the big shot if I were you but check around as the prices vary quite a bit on it.Diane Scotland on this forum got hers for a very resonable price from EBAY.Hope this helps and good luck.

PS. YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO BUY ANY OF THE CUTTING FILES ON HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A DIGITAL CUTTING MACHINE.
