I don't know how true this is but it was reported in Jan.2012 that a couple living in Bradford in the U.K. were married in 1925 - making them married for 86 years!
Wow I've a long way to go still - only been married for 53 years - a mere youngster |

Eric and I managed almost 40 years (he died 3 months before our 40th) and we thought that we were doing well! I suppose we were in these days of quick wedding and even quicker divorces.

I have been married 3 times but never reached any milestone so to speak. First 20 years (divorced), second 9 years (died) and this one is still going at 11 yrs 4 months. If it gets to 25 yrs it will be a miracle hee hee. (only joking, love him dearly, best one yet).

I suppose a change is as good as a rest joan but I have enough manageing one. seriously though I dont know how he puts up with me sometimes, he never complains when people come up to order cards, he runs me around to craft shops he even makes my boxes for me. when I make a mess with bits all round me and boxes of stuff everywhere he never says anything so I must be lucky.
