I've not used them but looking through them they are embellishments that you can use to 'decorate' your cards. Frames, photos, flowers etc. From what I've seen you cut them out and use

Overlay papers/backgrounds you put in PSP and then use your blend tool to create sheets. (Bottom layer colour, top the overlay and use the blend tool)

Card templates are just that....templates to make your cards so you know how to lay your designs out.

You would need a knowledge of PSP to be able to design your cards if you are going to design then print out.

Hope that helps a bit....without knowing what you downloaded, cant be more specific than that.

I'm a PSP'er!!

The later versions (PSPX through PSPX2) have a lot more tools for 'fixing' photos than version 7, 8 & 9.

But I do all my sheets in PSPX2.

I'm a PSP gal too. I use PSP X.

For lots of help, tutorials, ideas etc. check out the PSP Users Group website Paint Shop Pro Users Group: An Online Community for users of Paint Shop Pro. You can ask anything on the forum and someone will get back to you. They are very helpful and friendly.

Another good site is Dyan's Designs Dyan's Designs - Digital, Stamping, Scrapping. Look under digi tutorials.

Also check out the designer tutorials on this site. They were written for PSP 8 but they work in later versions too.

Hope this helps.

After you copy and paste as another layer if it goes below the template click on layers on your tool bar then scroll down to arrange, another box will open click on move to the top

I use psp 9 and I love it. I would suggest learning a bit more about it from the internet groups out there or taking an online course. Ive been using psp for about 4 yrs now and I am still finding out new things I didnt know all the time!!! Its a learning curve with it.
