I think most designers use either Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop. Personally, I use Photoshop.

Hi Angela
I have started using it. Its great for make overs on photos, can remove cracks scratches, nice white teeth etc. But I havent sussed out how to start designing, were can i obtain images to play with? How do I get all designs on one sheet? How would I even start to design a pyrimage? So sorry but you did say ask !! I am itching to get started! I was interested in cardmaking for the designs on this site but the cardmaker has to buy all sheets first, so i am waiting for discout at month end

Hi, first of all you need to know where all your tools are and how to use them, there are lots of free tutorials on the internet, images you could look in the puplic domain, if it is for practice and not to sell you could google for an image. A good place to start would be with would be joining a yahoo group for psp lessons. It is Stepping Stones through PSP

If I had a Windows-based PC, I'd choose PSP anyday over Photoshop. However, since I have a Mac, I cannot use PSP and do use PS Elements and I do love it and love to learn more and more capabilities.

You cannot go wrong by purchasing PSP to learn digital designing. You'll love it.

Check out some specials on Amazon: Amazon.co.uk: Paint Shop Pro

Let us know how you get on!
