Like Karen and others, I use both matte and glossy and it depends on the design as to which one I print on. Some designs just seem to beg for glossy and I have always been really pleased with the result.

Like Heather I use different papers and cards depending on the design and the effect I'm after. My main one of choice is the Super Smooth white Decoupage Card, but I'll use the Super Smoothe paper or Tesco's good quality 100gsm paper for backgrounds and inserts. Printable vellum is also nice for a change when printing backgrounds. There are some designs, especially those that are based on a photograph, where I'll use glossy photo paper - 190gsm usually. Then there's irridescent/pearlescent paper and card which gives a totally different effect as well. I don't want everything to come out looking the same.
