| Help from everyone please
I did a card show in a shopping mall at the weekend and I have a huge order to do for a company in Auckland. The owner wants me to make a Christmas Card for every employee!!!! Trouble is they can't be the standard cards. It would take me days to go through all the ones on CUP and my allowance on the web so if you ladies have any ideas of 3D Christmas cards that I could use please can you let me know. Don't forget their cup numbers as well. If you have made them already can you tell me what weight card you used which will help. I have tried tableau and shelf cards but never particularly successful enough that I am happy with them and I am wondering if I used too heavy a card at 300gsm. Any help appreciated ladies as I have so many to do and they have to be a variety. The only ones i can't do are the cascade ones as the lady didnt seem to be interested in that style. Look forward to hearing from you.

Wow Sandie that was really helpful. I think I already have a number of your cards in my wish list at the moment anyway but knowing the card weight will make it a lot better - I hope. I have been through the list and added heaps in there and can sort them all later. Thank you soooo much for your effort. www.kingcrafts.co.nz |

I have put a couple of those into my wish list. It is really growing now but I will sort through the designs in a day or two and pick the final ones and keep others in the wish list in case I need more. Many thanks Joan

Hi Joan
WOW a card for every person and they have to be different. Hope you are charging them the earth for that!!!! How many would that be and when are they needed for?
I will look into some of my cards so see what I have got and will let you know. Do you want something quick but effective? I have done some recently that were christmas cracker shape with bows on. Have a look in my Album called Forum 7. I put some glitter on some of them.
Good luck in your search.

Wow! How many employees are there? Sorry I can't help at the moment, I haven't designed any Christmas cards yet - but I'm on to it! Good luck with it all!

Hi Joan,
I've only recently started thinking about Christmas designs and I have just done three of my pop-out octagon ones which you can find here
The CUP Nos are:
CUP228864_692
CUP229170_692
CUP229249_692
These should be fine with your 300gms card.

Hi Joan,
Lovely to speak with you again. In total probably around 50 in time for christmas but I would say November to give leeway. It cannot be quick cards unfortunately. Every year this woman hunts for ideas for christmas cards and they have to be different. She didn't want any of my quick cards but more things like tableaus and table top ones etc that have a 3D effect and are a present and card in one. As for cost no she has her price as well like most people so i wouldnt get anything more than say £6 for one. I am looking for different things. I had crackers at the show I did and she may want some of those later but filled with Lindt chocolates - thats if I dont eat them first!!!
Take care Joan
