I bought some from the NEC and all it seemed to do is soak the top of the envelope, make it all crinckly and had little stick. Can't remember the name. It was in a little white bottle with green writing

Where possible I use standard ready made envelopes but when I have to make envelopes I use ds tape but the easylift stuff where the paper is wider than the tape.

I bought the roller bottle with green writing (which was recommended by some crafter - not on cup) and found it was great if used very soon after application but dried out after that, so I have gone back to using ds tape, at least it is reliable.

I've never tried the envelope glue myself. I know that some people sware by it. Provided that you leave it to dry properly before packing the envelope with the card. Then the person sending the card just has to lick it to moisten it the same as any shop bought envelope. But I'm with all those who've answered - finger lift, double sided tape - it's in most cardmaker's craft stash somewhere and does the job without spending out any extra money. As has been said - it's reliable.

Envelope Glue

I bought envelope glue of the Internet, but not impressed with it, dried with the edges of the envelope crinkly, and had to wait a while for it to dry. I now use double-sided tape.

Thanks everyone for your help... I will stick with DST. Just thought the envelope glue might have been better.
Cheers
