Taking pics of your finished cards can at times be difficult depending on the light, the camera, and the settings you have the camera on, what I do is have my cards on my dining table, there's a window above the table, place white card unde3r the card and take my pics that way, now, as for trying to crop, lighten, straighten etc I use Picasa, it's a free download and it's so very simple to use, here's the link
Picasa 3: Free download from Google
Now, picasa, once installed, will search your hard drive for all picture files, it wont move them from where they are in you PC, it'll copy them all, so they'll still be in the original destination folder, once you have your pic in picasa, all you do is look for it, click to edit and there you have the option to lighten, darken, straighten, crop add text, so many different things you can do, when I've cropped or lightened a pic I go to file, then save a copy, now I know thisa creartes more pics to save but it means I'm not altering the original. Also, check the settings on your camera, never use a flash, have the size at around 3 megapixels as this seems to be the best size of file to upload, especially here on the forum, don't have the card in a clear display bagf as this will give a "glare" to the pic, try having your card standing up facing the light, or if that's not possible lying flat under a window. It can be difficult getting it right, but once you get the hang of it you'll be fine xxx TC DIane xx
