Hi Trixie. Mine is a DAHL 507. Rotary Trimmer. An A4 Trimmer. There are several Trimmers in this range, other than the 507. I have had mine for years and it is superb. I have seen some Trimmers on such places as Create and Craft where one can change the cutting heads. These give one the benefit of cutting several shaped edges, such as scalloped, or peaked, (lots of different shapes). I have been thinking of trying one of these when my budget allows it. In the meantime I am quite content with the one I have, which will cut the merest shaving from a card, or paper!
PS. Amazon may be a good place to try!

After trying a few that were terrible I have a good one which cuts dead on the line you want to cut. It also has changeable cutting blades that do fancy edges and they are very easy to change too. I have had it for a couple of year now and it is really good. It is called "fingerGUARD trimmer" by Woodware craft creations. It wasn't very expensive either, I think it was about £18 with a spare blade. We have a craft shop in our garden centre and I bought it there but I have not seen them on sale anywhere else. Maybe you can do a google search to find suppliers. I hope that helps _ Carol

I got a simple rotary trimmer from my local Staples and it does the job beautifully.

The lightweight, easy to move and use for quick jobs, trimmer I have is a Westcott Titanium Personal Trimmer. (I also wouldn't be without the "Westcott 5" Titanium Non Stick Scissors" and another couple of sizes of the same thing as they are great for cutting sticky foam tape, etc.) For big batches of card making I get out my bigger one which is a two in one guilotine and rottery cutter from Purple Cows. Like - this one - although mine is a slightly different model in a different colour. The two sids can be detached for working with just one method of cutting if the large cutting/measureing area isn't needd. This gives the flexibility of perfect straight lines with the guilotine, and the option of different style cuts and scores with the rottery cutter side, and three blades come with it. But I've also got a "Freestyle Mouse Cutting Kit" which comes with lots more rottery blades which are fully interchangeable into the 2 in 1, giving me the options of lots of different style edges as straight cuts when in the 2 in 1, or making decorative wavy edges in the Freestyle Mouse.
