Smile Stitched medallion stickers

These are some stickers that Teresa (sewingdutchess) sent me and they are really nice to do, one is gold and one is silver...the scanner didn't like the sparkle very much The thread is Coates Chikan Art Silk.
Thanks very much Teresa

These are really exquisite Marie...

I've got some embroidery peel-offs, gifts too, but am not so sure how to do them...I've looked and looked for instructions, to no avail so they're just waiting there, in their box...

I attach my stickers to the paper I want to show through the sticker (sometimes cutting out the sticker, sometimes leaving it on the whole card), then prick out the holes. The stitching is pretty much up to you though as they don't come with "guides", but let your imagination go and you will be pleasantly surprised with the results!

Gorgeous cards Marie!

These are really lovely Marie, I am not sure I can figure out how you did them. Peel off sticker, stick onto card then did you embrider onto them???
Also I liked you Christmas tree with embroidery, again were they peel off stickers stuck onto a card after being emproidered? If so where do you buy them form.

Thanks

Beverley

Sorry to be so vague but I havent seen this done before.

Marie, those are gorgeous. I like Carol's idea of sticking, stitching and cutting to put on a contrast layer. They are much prettier than I imagined when I first heard of them. TFS, Marie, cuz now a have yet another item for my wish list!
