Help needed

I have had a message from Rob to tell me about a lady who purchased some .studio files from Craftsuprint, including (at least) one of mine. She has unzipped the file OK, but says when she goes to open the file in Studio, there is nothing on the workspace. Could there be something in settings that would be causing this, it opens fine on my computer.
I have suggested clicking Ctrl A to see if the selection border shows up, and if so, to check to see line colour is selected, also fill colour. (Just had a reply from her to say that didn't do anything) Other than that I can't think of what to tell her. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions I can tell her.
Thanks for any help

This only happens when the customer or who ever has the files has not got the version of the software your using....

They either need to upgrade to 2 2 software which they can do by going to here Silhouette - Download New Software

Or the designer needs the first software that was brought out... I always use the first version of the software as everyone can then open my files as they are forward compatible...

Also to take into consideration is if the designer is using the designer version of the software and used features that the customer does not have in their basic version they also won't be able to use.

Thanks Tina. The file I made was made in V1.9.1 and she has 2.2, so does that mean she won't be able to open my file in her 2.2?

Hmmm ... I downloaded v2.2 and it opened my v1.9.1. file no problem, so I can only assume it is something in her setup that is causing the file not to show up.

If your using 1.9 and she is using 2,2 she should be able to open it... However if she is using 1.9 and you are 2,2 then she won't be able to use it..

Once you download Margaret it updates your software so you would be able to open it anyway...
