Feathers

Hi all, how do you feather a feather. What I mean is I have a bunch of different coloured feathers and would like to use some on some of my cards, but dont know how they go fluffy and light lol. Any ideas would be great thanks

If you want fluffy feathers Tracy your best to use malibu feathers.

Hi Tracy,
I agree with what Faith has said.A long time ago I bought some feathers from a cheap shop and they are just not the same as the fluffy ones.
If you know anyone with a budgie or parrot, sometimes you can get some nice small fluffy feathers from them,make sure they are clean though,lol.

I 'liberated' some feathers from himself's fishing tackle box. Fair exchange I thought as he 'borrowed' some of my knitting wool. In the end it was moi who did the fly-tying. Not totally sure exactly what it was I tied, some unknown species I reckon, but he did catch fishes with them, so I must have produced something tasty looking. Hen feathers were much softer than the cock feathers. No I dunno why either.

Hi Diane thats the place I seen them this morning but for some strange reason wasnt sure if I could mention Ebay on here. But yeah they have some great offers in there.
