Pinflair pick up tool - Brilliant!

I have just bought a nifty little tool from Pinflair - Sticky Pick Up Tool. Its brilliant! I saw it on C&C last week and thought I've just got to have it! Unfortunately it was sold out so I got it straight from Pinflair themselves and to be honest I think it was cheaper. Its a must have for all crafters. Pinflair themselves say
"Much easier to use than tweezers, this tool is great for picking up small items such as Gemstones, Sequins, even Decoupage pieces and then placing them onto your projects. If the end becomes dirty or dusty simply wash under warm water and the stickyness comes back to life".

What a brilliant invention!

I was interested in the tool as well. I did have one with a blue rubber end that was s'posed to stay sticky, but it didn't, despite me washing it as per instructions. I once owned a metal tool that one pressed into a waxy substance. I've still got the wax stuff, but can't find the tool. Maybe I should tip everything out of my sewing box, can't believe I chucked it out.

Roz I had one like yours, and it didn't stay sticky very long.I couldn't get it to become sticky again.
Now I have lost the end,but still have the tool.
I was just wondering if a little bit of blu tak might do the trick on the end of the tool.I will have a try tomorrow.
Take care.xx

Do you know if they post overseas? This little tool would be so handy for me as I have very dodgy hands/fingers....old age...hits some of us younger than others, (mind you, I'm no spring chicken...lol)

You could e-mail Pinflair Heather, they are very good at replying, I fancy one of these tools too, I'm all a fumble and end up with adhesive stones stuck all over the place!
