Double-sided Tape

I've noticed on Create & Craft some of them keep the backing from the Double-Sided Tape...
What uses could these have, I've started keeping mine just in case!
ALL ideas welcome please!

No idea love, unless they are just being tidy! Mine go in the bin I'm afraid, there is a limit to how much I am prepared to recycle.

I'm with Roz on this one too. I'm useless at recycling stuff even part sheets I've got a box full of pieces left over from making cards & I've no idea what I'm going to do with them yet.

I think most of the C & C demonstrators just put the backing strips off double sided tape to one side to be tidy. (Then toss it to the floor out of camera site for Magic Hands to clean up probably LOL)

However I have seen the strips used for one technique. Double sided tape can be used to attach a perfect line of glitter on a card as a highlight or border, depending on the width of the double sided tape. If you want this band of glitter to be of more than one colour you can take the backing strip off the double sided tape once it's put on the card front, then tare it into smaller pieces and put it either horisontally or diagonally accross the tacky tape at regular intervals. You then put on and rub in one colour of glitter and shake off any excess. Then take the small bits of tape backing off and put the other colour of glitter on and rub it in. The second colour won't stick where the first colour was completely rubbed in, but will stick to where you re-covered the tape for the first application. And there you have a two coloured strip of glitter.

Can't think of any other idea off hand at the moment.

I use mine for the edges of my carrier sheets on my robo as mine seem to peel off really easy.. and then the rollers get sticky
