Have you followed the link I gave you in the other thread you opened up on the same topic yet Mary? and re-named and re-uploaded your problem photos?
If you are using the same camera, at the same settings, and doing the same thing to the pictures before uploading, for the problem pictures as you've done for the pictures that appear just fine at the larger size, then it doesn't seem likely that it's the pictures themselves that are the problem. You've probably already got your photo settings right or it would be likely that none of your photos would appear properly, but if re-naming and re-uploading doesn't help then it wouldn't hurt to re-size the photos and re-upload. I know that you can't put up photos of larger than 2Mb file size, but I tend to re-size so that the image dimension is around 1000 pixels across, which usually saves at a much smaller file size than the maximum allowable. But admin's suggestion to rename the files and then re-upload the pictures would be the first thing to try out. GG

I have a problem when going through the gallery that some images dont show up in the large photo area and are just a small icon up in the top left corner instead of the photo.
Asked about it and was told its 'me' not the forum/gallery.
Gave up trying to find out why. However its only some photos not all of them. So its not 'me'.

I wonder if it has somethin g to do with you album settings?? the film strip is the only way I'm seeing your pics, have you by any chance gone in and altered the settings via your category admin?? maybe it's been changed somehow to show just a film strip?? I'm having a bit of bother with my PC at the moment, but, if you wanted I could go in and check your settings Mary?? all you would need to do is PM me with your log in details and password so that I could go in as you and see if there's a problem with your settings, failing that, try to re-upload, as Gwyneth said you're photos are being taken correctly so there shouldn't be problems, let me know what you want to do xxx TC Diane xx

I've just gone inot my own albums, went through category admin, image tools, album editing, here there and everywhere but can't see any settings that could make the cards show as film strip, have a go with Gwyneths suggestion, re-name and re-upload, see if that works xx if not we'll go through all available options okay TC Diane xx

Yey!! Well done Mary
Glad its sorted for you
In the meantime, the problem continues with mine BUT, only with SOME!!
I can't imagine its anything to do with settings or my camera because most of the time everything is fine and my pics are all treated exactly the same
Oh well, I will continue to live with it, lol.
I'm pleased yours is sorted though
