I'm the same. I have tried die cut and fine if you are in a hurry but I purchased a pair of tweezer scissors about 4 years ago and they are still going strong. I do alot of craft fairs so they get alot of use but still as sharp as when I bought them.
I like to sit down in the evening and cut out and then make up the cards when I am in the mood.

Send a message via Yahoo to Durham Lass
I do think both have there place but I always have to buy the ones to cut out. why? 'Cos hubby likes to sit and cut them
That is why I like Crafts u Print as well as Papertole.
Plus with Crafts u Print I know I am sending to a fellow crafter.

I've used both, but tend to use the cut out ones more. The first few times i cut them out myself i had shares in plasters. I cut myself so many times using scissors i found cack handed and couldn't manage.
My o/h offered once and he messed them up beyond repair, Hence i have never asked him again and i think he's happy with that just another thing he admitts i do better than him. lol.

re cutting out my craft class girls laugh at me using the longest scissors i have about 7 inches long cant be doing with those little twiddly little things. with the long ones you turn the paper not the scissors, never cut myself yet but have with the little ones.

i find cutting out relaxing BUT i have to cut all the images from one print and then 3d / sticky foam them together cos i would get myself in a propper muddle if i had all different bits from different pictures

one day im going to do an Anton Pieck one..... Paper tole have them in.... one day deffo.

I like combining decoupage with stitching, especially if I stitch a border and put the decoupage inside

I'm a decoupage girl too :0)
The Moreheads are gorgeous and some of the best die cuts on the market.

I don't like the die cut sheets that aren't cut up to the image and have white bits round the edges. I end up cutting them all off, which defeats the object!

Die cut sheets produced by Reddy are also really good quality die cutting.

There's an exciting new product about to emerge on the market, which is die cut blank sheets which go through your printer and create pyramid and invertage decoupage or toppers, in various shapes.
