I'm here . . . how are you enjoying your new hobby? It takes a bit of practise but the results are worth it. Do you buy Parchment Craft magazine and have you visited their website? Lots of useful hints and tips can be found there from parchers at different levels . . . well worth a visit.

I have had no luck with parchment because i just had a go myself and hoped for the best. Recently i was told the the parchment and tools have to warm to work better so may have another go.

I love the parchment cards. The work looks so beautiful. Something I plan to have a go at when I retire (in a few years), just don't have time at the moment. :0(

I've tried it and love it but have to say am very envious of the work produced by people who know what they are doing with it. There is some beautiful work out there. Looking forward to seeing some of your work to inspire me again to have another go. Chris xx

I'd love to try parchment, you do'nt see anything like that here, and I know it would go down really well, but it's finding the time to practice, the process seems a lot slower than general cardmaking and i'm not sure i'm patient enough, I like to see results quick,

Hello Gracie I am a 'parcher' too. I have been going to a class once a week for about 2 years now but I am not doing as well as others in the class as I am rather bad at doing my 'homework practice' and as you will know it is practice which makes perfect! I enjoy my normal papercrafting cards too much so spend most of my time doing those. It is the cutting out which I need to practice - my embossing isn't too bad. Do you go to a class at all? Hope you continue to enjoy it as I do. Luv, Margaret Mountstephens
