Acrylic Gel Medium for transfers

Hello I'm looking for some advice on buying acrylic gel medium so i can transfer images from photocopies onto wood to make brooches. Does anyone know which is the best medium to use? Every website i've seen says to use any 'acrylic medium gel' but I don't have a clue where to start looking! I hope someone can help!
Thanks

Acrylic Gel Medium for transfers

There are many kinds of acrylic gel mediums on the market, but the two that I know about are Golden Soft Gel Medium and Liquitex Gel Medium --both come in matte and gloss depending on the result you would like to achieve.
I have not done any direct to surface transfers with these, but what I have done is create an image "skin" which I sandwich between two layers of glass, so that you can see the image from both sides.
Hope this helps.

Also look on the youtube website and Liquitex website for more information.

Best regards,
