Pro markers and Copic pens.

Does anyone know if there is a correct way of storing these pens. Do they need to be upright or can I store them all laying down in a box.xxx

I'm sure I've seen it said on TV that they should be stored flat, as ProMarkers are twin-tipped and you don't want the ink running to whichever end is down. Don't know whether this is a strict rule or just one person's preference.

They should always be stored flat on their sides.

I don't know anything about Promarkers, but I have been storing my Copic in the upright for months, and have had no problems with them. They are in clear plastic containers that were sold for Copic markers. It helps keep them organized or I would have to spend hours sorting through to find the color I want. I suppose it would be possible to lay the containers on their sides until I use them.

Hi, I love all the marker i think Pros and lestrate markers are best flat because of the type of ink, but copics i store mine upright turning them every few days. Hope this helps take care and happy crafting.

I use ProMarkers, and keep mine flat.
I saw a brilliant & cheap way to store them on a blog.
Basically using a cheap dvd rack and dvd cases.
The dvd rack used in the pic is from ikea and costs £8

I have NEVER used either...which are the best?? I see Copic in the States more than here - which would you recommend as the best and easiest to use, ie which one blends better?? I am just advancing into the world of pens and find it all rather overwhelming!! Plus they seem expensive - do you buy from Ebay...Create and Craft...QVC or a craft shop - you see so many deals on!!
