Hi all - I am looking at buying a cross-stitching charting program but am not sure which one to buy. Has anyone had any experience with using a charting program & if so which one would you recommend - thank you in advance Sandra x

The one I've got is "Jane Greenoffs iStitch Cross Stitch Design Programme" - you can find it - here. There's a video linked from the page but I'm not sure what's being shown in the clip. This program has colour swatches in each of the major thread suppliers colours so you can design in any of the. You can go and put in block by block of colour and build up your design that way, use from the library of little images, or import and convert your own images and photos. Just wish my hands would work well enough with an embroydery needle for me to cross stitch regularly now. I've got a birth sampler on the go - and the person it's for is five now!
