Hello all you fab CUP people. I have just been approved as a designer so thought I would pop in and say hello.

I have a question also but I am not sure if it belongs in the Newbie Room or whether I should 'Ask a Designer'. There is a letter M next to some of my listings in my control panel, but I don't know what it means? Some of the M's are next to quarantined cards and some are next to ones in holding. Do I need to do something? I can see that the quarantined ones have a message saying why they are quarantined and these are red, so perhaps the M is nothing to do with the quarantine. Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Diane, thanks for the hello. I should have said I design cutting files, although they will be available as pdfs for those that don't have cutting machines and want to part with their money

I will post a message in the designer forum.

I suspect I will be visiting the forum often with lots of questions, at least at first. I will let you know when my designs are available and I must try to make time to go and buy some of the printed designs, it is my nieces birthday next week and I don't have anything suitable that I haven't already sent her before!!

hi kim the m means they are sheets that are multilinked to others i believe like inserts or designs that are similar ..welcome and good luck with the designing xhetty

Thank you so much Heather , I was wondering what I had done wrong! I never even thought about the M being for multilinked, but yes they are linked files. Mystery solved

Hi Helen, I don't think you have to be clever to be a designer, although I think there are some amazingly clever designers. I think in my case I am pig-headed and determined!! If I can't do something I keep trying until I can, but sometimes I drive myself nuts and wish I would just give up! The most important thing in life is to be doing something you enjoy and on the whole I love being part of the crafting community, crafters are so lovely and kind.
