Hi Bella and welcome to CUP. I made all my daughters wedding stationery when she got married 5 years ago ............ it's a labour of love but well worth the effort!

Hi Bella, Welcome to the forum. I am from Glasgow but work out in Eskbank, Dalkeith at Southfield, maybe you know it. The forum is extremely addictive once you find your way around.
Speak to you soon.

Hello and welcome, Bella. I am not anywhere near Edinburgh. I am in the USA, so I am waving to you from across the pond.

HI and welcome to you Bella, I'm in Livingston, just outside the great city of Edinburgh where I am originally from. I made wedding invites for a friends sister, took a long time, had to have the patience of a saint but it was worth it in the end to help make someones day more special and personal. Enjoy being part of the forum take care xx

Hi Bella and welcome to the forum. I too have been involved in making wedding stationery.
Just printing the order of service for my brother's wedding nearly five years ago, but I did the lot for my sister's wedding 15 months ago. Started in plenty of time, agreed the colour scheme and style, and had all the card and embelishments in a good six months before the date (except that the numbers kept on growing). And spaced the work out at a comfortable pace. Still managed to be a rush job for the last item, the table names and seating arrangements, as I only had that list from my sister at 10am on the morning of the wedding and she was to deliver them to the hotel at 11am. Thankfully I knew ahead of that who was coming and had all the place name cards ready.
Still, I wouldn't mind doing wedding stationery again, as, after doing samples and agreeing which style exactly is required, it becomes more of a production line if you've got the right tools and materials in front of you.
Hope the whole job goes smoothly for you. GG |
