Welcome from manother Queenslander. Good to see there are several Aussies popping up on here. I did'nt realise card making was so popular in Australia, it seems to be scrapbooking thats in favour here in CQ.

Your right I think scrapping is prob the more popular but maybe us Q'lders and other Aussies can raise the card making to a higher status now

I also think that the economy is affecting crafting too. I had to buy a card the other day and OMG........$4.60 for a very ordinary little card!
Now had I not needed it so quick........for about $1 something I can purchase a sheet and make one that is a lot more personal.

I know time is an issue with making it but doing a couple of mins each night and planning ahead so its done when needing to be sent, is a way better option!!

I'm going to slowing intro my group members into this shortly and as we've got a few ladies from CUP joined up in the forum now, I think it would be a wonderful 'extra' as we already have and use digi scraps in our work.

And I have a couple of Aussies who already sell crafts, which they design stuff for in PSP so they may like to expand their horizons into cards!!!

Hi, digital scrapbookers might like to take a look at the designs in the Designer Resources section on cUp ... most of my designer resources were originally designed for scrapbooking!
