Hi from another newbie looking to make friends with other card makers and crafters.

I've been cardmaking for about 10 years and love trying new techniques and products. I also love watercolour painting, leather work, encaustic art, pyrography and other crafty activites.

I'm particularly interested in having a go at producing some design but would love some help in finding out where I can find some art work that I can use legally. I have noticed that some of the designers are using art work that appears on various CDs that are available to purchase but how can one find out what is copyright free? Any help folks, please.

Hi Mac59, and welcome to the craftforum. I'm more of a card maker than a designer so can't really help with sorces of images you can use legally, but if you're into watercolour painting perhaps we'll see some designs on CUP before long where you've used some of your own work as the basis for the designs. Good luck with the designing, and hope we get to see some of the cards you've been making put up in an album before long.
