 | Craft Weekends ~ Card Exhibtions
Hi Everyone
Just joined the forum (my first post) and not sure if I am in the right section
I am just thinking of making an hobby of card making and wondered if anyone is aware of any organised card making workshops close to my area (Lincolnshire) ???
Also are there any recommended exhibtions which I could visit i,e NEC Birmingham etc to see what is available

I can't really help you with your queries as I live in Alicante but I'm sure someone will "pop on" who will have the info you need.

Hi Julie,
Yes if you google for the NEC site there's the Hobbycraft show which is on at the end of March & I think its also on in October.
There's also one on at Harrogate but I don't know the dates of these.

Hi Julie
The ICHF (International Craft & Hobby Fair) site can be found - here. You can check out what they've got coming up in the Hobby Craft range of shows there. But your best bet for things happening in your area is to ask at your local Library and also your local Further Education Collage that runs evening classes and the like. Also keep an eye out in your local paper for any craft faires that may be held close to you as you may find that a chat with stall holders could put you in touch with a local craft group. GG

Hello Julie. I live in the Cromer, Norfolk area and going off the list that has been posted, I would say Thetford is about the nearest to us. You have definitely come to the right shop for card making! This is certainly the very best forum on the planet.
