Newbie here, oldie in real life :(

Not so newbie chronologiaclly, but at least a newbie here. Am trying to figure out how to upload a photo of a card I made from a kit I bought here - do I just insert the image here? No, I see it already has to reside on the net somewhere - hmm, stumped

blessings,
Dianna G

Hi Dianna

Have you had a read of the "Getting started" thread in the Newbie Room? That's a good place to start when joining Craftforums.

There are some areas you need to have made 5 posts before you can have access. I think that putting images up into the Craftforums Gallery is one of them. Have a read of the thread "Tutorial: Forum Gallery Albums" to find out how to make your own Albums/Categoreis in the Gallery to put your card pictures into.

If you want to be able to upload photos of your creations made from items downloaded from craftsUprint up to the craftsUprint site to appear on the page of the digital download, the thread you need to read is "What is a registered crafter and how does it work??" as this will set you on the right path.

So have a good read, post a few posts, and have fun on Craftforums.

GG

Welcome Diana from another not so young newbie. Difficult getting our brains round all this technical stuff is'nt. Usually find solutions to things when I'm nowhere near the computer just by thinking about it. Trouble is by the time I get to the computer the solution is nowhere to be found in my brain. Wanted to add a smiley face but can't see how to do it.....Katie

Hi there Snowbird and welcome from another comparative newbie to the forum.
We have a separate printed and scanner and both are Epson. Both are brilliant so I expect a printer -scanner by them will be good too. Particularly like the printer beacause it has 6 separate inks. Much less wasteful. Good luck.
Katie.
(Would send you a smiley face but cant work out how to do it.)
