Am I ok to join the CUP team

Hi Mary, Thanks for your reply, I am asking myself if I have joined the correct forum as although I am a very keen crafter and enjoy many crafts, I do not make cards although it is something i would like my grandaughter to try, she too is very keen on crafting, I use paper in almost ball the crafts I do, My Husband got me a Craft Robo for Christmas and i am amazed what this wee machine is capable of. My son does vinyl printing which is among many of the hobbies he has, he has a plotter so he has been a great help getting me started with the robo also the kind lady he bought the it from has been very helpful. I do not want to intrude on your forum if it is only for card designers. I love to browse through them and the embelishments that are being used and card making may be something I will try in the future, i choose to join to share with the CUP team some of the crafts i do, do, only if you were interested. I am currently trying to create a mood board for my daughters collage work and the theme is Oriental and have been searching for days for cutting files for borders and possible silouette tree and giesha girls without success. I thought it was time to join a forum and get some help from the experts, please do not hesitate to tell me if Im knocking on the wrong door.

Feel free to do as much or as little as you like. This is a really friendly place with quite a few passionate robo-ers. It can get quite addictive, but who likes housework anyway? It is lovely to have you with us.

Hi Dena

It has been a long time since I first registered on the main site - ages before I joined the forum. I can't actually remember the process. I know the sign in details are different for the main site than they are for the forum. When I log into the main site I use my e-mail address and password. Sorry I am not much help. Hopefully someone will come along with more details. If not go to the bottom of the page, click on "contact us" and open a support ticket. Those lovely admin people will help as soon as they can.

Helen

Hi Dena

I'm one of the Craftforum members who has had a CraftROBO 330-20 for quite a while and love what can be done with it, and have now upgraded to the latest Cameo (simply because I wanted the ability to cut slightly larger areas and to cut heavier weight cardstock).

If you've never placed an order with craftsUprint before you won't have an username and password to log in. What you need to do is go round the site and put the items you want to buy into your basket by clicking "Add to Cart". When you have chosen what you want click on "Checkout". You will then be taken to a page that allows you to either log in or to buy as a new customer, take that route and you will create your CUP account, and after purchase have access to your control panel to download what you've bought (assuming you opted for download rather than the "Print and Post" option).

I'm sure you've noticed that the CUP site itself caters with digital downloads for crafters of may types, from card makers, to knitters and sewers, with papercrafting using cutting files for digital cutting machines, and designs for scrapbookers being thrown in as well. And this Craftforums is full of people who love a wide variety of crafts, so even if you don't do the same type of crafting as everybody else you are most welcome here, whatever your level of crafting.

We'd all love to see what you've been making I'm sure. You just need to create your own album/category in the "Gallery" and then upload photos of your work. Have a read of the "Tutorial: Forum Gallery Albums" to see how it's done.

If you are looking for a specific design of digital download that you can't find on the main CUP site, be this for printing and cutting by hand before cardmaking or other form of paper crafting, or a cutting design, then there's the "Ask An Expert / Designer" Craftforums section that you can go to and post to ask if somebody would be able to design it for you.

Enjoy being a member of Craftforums.

GG
