| Hi
The red triangle under the name of the person who posted is there so that you can click on it if you feel that the post needs to be reported to the site moderators for being Spam, totally inapropriate, etc.
The red dot is to say that the person who posted is currently not online on the site.
The green dot means that the person who posted is currently online, which is why you see it under your name by the side of your own post, as you are online and viewing the site. GG

Hi Collette, if you go into the newbie section at the top of that page on the left hand side you'll see " start a new thread" click that, once you've done that just type in a little introduction, tell us a bit about yourself and remember to give your "thread" a heading, then everyone will see you're new and pop in to welcome you, simples TC Diane xx

Here's the info on Getting Started again for those of you who have recently joined the forum and don't quite know how to get around, pull up a chair and settle in xx
HI all newbies, some of you may be a bit confused about getting around the site so thought I'd pop in to lend you all a helping hand. 1st things 1st, you have to pop in here to introduce yourselves, how do you do that??.... easy..... you'll see at the top left of the newbie section there's a tab headed start new thread, click on that then just type a little message about yourselves then at the bottom click on submit, done!!!! you've now got yourself in the door. Once you've done this you'll have made your 1st post, a post is a message/reply. Then take a wander around the site, look at some of the topics started, if they interest you then reply, or if you want to ask someone a question or start your own topic then use the same method as starting a post in here. Once you've made 5 posts/replies, you can then start up your own album, you can upload pics of any cards you've made, doesn't have to be CuP cards. To create and album you need to click on the community tab, you'll find that under the forum logo, once in there you need to create an album, so for instance I would maybe call mines " Diane's Cards" then save this, to upload all you need to do is go back into your albums, click on upload, browse the files in your PC, open the 1 you want to upload then click upload, remember to put the picture into YOUR album, you'll see a little drop down box with the destinations, you're looking for your album name, click on it and your pic should go straight into your album. Another thing that changes once you've made enough posts is that you will be able to send and receive PMs, these are private messages, you'll find them on the top right of the forum page, you'll also be able to add people as your friend and be able to join all of us chatters in the chatbox. I hope this helps some of you settle in, if you have any questions then ask, if I don't pop in to answer then someone will. Most importantly, have fun on the site, we're like one huge happy crafting family here, always there to lend a hand. Don't forget, once you've made 5 posts doors open for you, and, if you want to create an album, pop into the main message centre and you'll find my tutorial at the top of the page, print it off to make life easier for yourself, and problems then just ask xx TC Diane xxx[/QUOTE]

Hi Cheryl, I think you'll find we're all CuP addicts here so you'll fit in well hahaha, you should start a new post introducing yourself in the newbie section, you'll get lost of warm welcomes that way just read the info on how to start a thread above TC Diane xx
