Same here in Spain, although we were lucky this time only lost the satellite signal. We have in the past lost the whole satelittle dish patio chairs and table, now we fill the legs with sand. A lot of houses in this are lost their roofs this time, not sure how we escaped with no damage. Hope you are OK over in the Canary Islands.

Hi

Hi Andrea, it sounds just dreadful there, I hope you manage to get yourselves sorted out. We are in south eastern Spain at about alt 2,500' and we caught the edge of the cylone here too. Fortunately very little damage, except to my nerves. It hit between 7.30pm and 1am and was very scary especially when the power went off. If anyone remembers the 1986 hurricane that hit southern england then it was just like that.

My heart goes out to you, hopefully we will never see another one of those. We are in an earthquake area too but nothing more than mild tremors since we came 8 years ago.

Keep on Crafting

Thanks Lynda, were all fine, I think when you see all the catastrophies gooing on around the world ours was a walk in the park, frightening as it was, nobody was injured, I think we are all more concerned that something like this will trigger Mount Teide to blow, it's due!!!I've started building my raft! lol.xxx
