I manage to mess up the most simple of foods though, one time I was making a roast dinner and as I was having some plastering done by a friend I offered him some too. I'd run out of frozen peas so used a tin of processed peas only to find that all of the shells or skins had come off and were bouncing around on top of the water... oops ! Hoping he wouldn't notice and just appreciate the free hot meal, I put them all on the plasterers plate and hid them under the gravy... as you do

All seemed to be going well til he piped up with 'errr Janine, all of my peas are empty'
