ahh we must have the same recipe Sheila

I manage to mess up the most simple of foods though, one time I was making a roast dinner and as I was having some plastering done by a friend I offered him some too. I'd run out of frozen peas so used a tin of processed peas only to find that all of the shells or skins had come off and were bouncing around on top of the water... oops ! Hoping he wouldn't notice and just appreciate the free hot meal, I put them all on the plasterers plate and hid them under the gravy... as you do All seemed to be going well til he piped up with 'errr Janine, all of my peas are empty'

We were driving to Stirling yesterday afternoon in my car. It was dark. I had my guitar music CD playing and all of a sudden I could hear Il Divo!!! We looked at each other in disbelief. I ejected the CD. My husband said that the last time I played Il Divo the tune must have stuck in the CD player’s memory. LOL I told him that I have been listening to the guitar music CD since I bought it in October at the Craft show. No he was insistent. I said maybe the radio had cut in on my CD. He said ‘what were the chances that if the radio had done this it would be Il Divo’. I put the CD back in and put it back to the track that was playing but it played right through that time no problem. A mystery.

We got to Sainsbury and did our shopping and on the way back in the car my new smart phone was ringing and my husband answered it and spoke to my neighbour. When he was speaking to her I kept asking him to ask her if she had called earlier. He didn’t but when he hung up I said that the Il Divo we heard earlier was actually my new phone. My husband had downloaded the track for my ring tone and neither of us put two and two together when Il Divo suddenly started singing through my guitar music. Hahahahahahahahha. Old age is a terrible thing.
