 | Christmas Nearly here....
Can't believe it, only three more days until Christmas. How quickly December has gone by, I had so many plans not to leave anything to do this week but my best laid plans just didn't work out. It's Wednesday and I have still some cards to finish and presents to wrap but sure Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the last minute rush.
Hope everyone has a really nice Christmas and a big thank you to everyone who answered all my questions (many of them quite silly I'm sure), I've only been on the forum a few months and I'm afraid I'm addicted. I don't always add to posts but I'm usually on everyday checking out the gallery and reading some very intersting posts where I've picked up so many hints. Everyone here is so helpful and friendly.
This year has been difficult for me because I had an accident during the summer doing one of my hobbies (showing cattle), I have had crucial ligament reconstruction and am still doing my rehabilitaion, everything was going good until last Saturday when I slipped and fell on the ice, silly me. Well fingers crossed I haven't done too much damage done and that next year I'll be back driving and give up my crutches. I suppose every cloud has a silver lining and I have had more time to sit and make cards and my new years resolution is to put some up on the gallery but with all the talent that is here I'm a bit afraid to show my efforts off.

Sorry to hear you have been having a time of it this year.Hopefully 2012 will be a much better one for you.I hope you have a very happy xmas and prosperous new year.I'll be holding you to that resolution of puting your creations up for us to see.I'm sure your cards are beautiful so you get them posted on the forum girl xx

Ouch Martina - that is nasty crucial ligament problems. You take care!
Looking forward to seeing some of your cards in the gallery. I love to see all the wonderful creations everyone makes!
Hope you get back to showing your cattle in 2012.

Hope your recovery progresses as you would wish and that your slip hasn't caused any further harm. I also hope you stick to your New Year's Resolution and put up lots of your card creations for us to see.
