It is quiet tonight and the rain has finally stopped. The weather has been bad this winter with lots of high winds and rain. However, last year we had around 18 inches of snow which was no picnic either. I think I would rather have the rain and wind - but not 100mph winds. ;o))

Well what an horrendous night we have had here in Wigan.Not slept at all as the winds have been terrible.Thought at one point the house was going to lift off like in The Wizard of Oz John overslept this morning as we didn't get much sleep but when he got to work he said everyone looked like the walking dead as no one had any sleep.Still windy this morning and heavy rain forecast
Let's hope it improves soon.Dont think my nerves can stand it.

If an alien suddenly landed this morning on Pendle hill and we said - 2 days ago we had 80mph winds - they wouldn't believe you! This morning it is blue skies, no wind and sunshine. Not exactly warm but it looks so nice outside in comparison with what we have had for the last week.
