Background:-In 1953 my mother finally succombed to spousal pressure & allowed the purchase of a T.V.(Only so we could watch the Queens' Coronation).Soon after this ,Wagon Train started.Oh! the Joy! the Thrill for this little 11 year old girl - Robert Horton had just become the love of her life .

Fast track to last week:- Lo & Behold! One of the new digital channels we have just got had a re-run.Yes,you guessed it - Wagon Train!!

57 years later that man STILL looks the same. My heart fluttered(& a few other parts of my anatomy).My alarm is now permanently set for 4am.

THEN - joy of joys! Gigi also came on & the man who had the dubious honour of being the 1st dirty old man to pinch my 17 year old BTM -Maurice Chevalier! I was doing an interim job at MGM in London when they had their preview of Gigi in their private theatre for the cast & crew. I have to tell you that Maurice was 3 times more over the top in real life than he was on the screen!! Watching the movie again I could still feel the spot that he pinched!

Mine was Cary Grant. Hmmmmmmmmmm Sexxxxxyyyyyyy

I even named my son Grant after him. Did consider Cary but I knew someone with that name and it was always being changed to GARY so decided against it. My son is now called BIG "G" as he is 6ft tall.

Happy memories are worth their weight in gold.

OH!! June I've been watching the re-runs of rawhide on cable.CLINT EASTWOOD!!!! OOH ERR!!! what I wouldn't have done to him then.Alas I was too young.
