Hi Julie

I just use the software I mentioned before, IrfanView, to resize my pictures for diferent uses. It's got a menu option "Image" then "Resize/Resample" and I just put in 1000 for Craftforums or my Blog, and 800 for photos to be uploaded to CUP and it just resizes the image size to the right pixels, and thus the whole file size is smaller as well.

But there are a lot of other free image manipulation software that will do the same.

Hi Julie, I see you've uploaded a pic here in the forum and it looks just great, it's all about getting certain things right honey, ie, lighting etc, keep playing with things and you'll get there, as for the picture size, you should have a menu button on your camera, you need to go and change the size of the pics down to around 3 megapixels, or, if the sizes are stated in large, medium etc then try the medium setting 1st xx TC Diane xx
