Mmmm. Maybe if you ask an expert you will get the right answer. I think if you downloaded a name from google and made it the right size you could do it that way. (remember copyright laws). But to be honest "I havn't a clue. HaHa. Dianne Scotland has been one of my mentors, bless her.

I typed glitter names into google and found a Myspace name generator picked the text I wanted and got the code uploaded it to my signature but think I wrapped in the wrong code box.

Mary, some of these names are made in graphics programs which crafters and designers have on their systems and others are made in online programs, some of which have, 'free to use' areas which have some limitations.

I think, if you googled, free online signatures, you might be presented with some options to try.

I have a graphics program and used to make these some years ago but darned if I can remember exactly how to do them now, lol. I might have a play around when I get some time ... something I've been very short of lately, lol.

I'm willing to bet there will be someone along to give you some guidance very shortly.

If you look around Craftforums at some of the posts by people who's signatures you like, and click on those signature animated graphics names you will quite often be taken straight to the site of the online service they used to make the files.

Hopefully somebody who's using these types of service will pop in and give you more information. I've just made up a simple graphics in my graphics software. I'm not overly keen on flashing and moving signature graphics myself as it's distracting and can give readers headaches if they are in the eyeline while they are reading posts. It does to me if I'm tired. Pretty signatures that don't move about are great though.
