Well just to make you all feel jealous Im in sunny Queensland Australia. We had 35 degrees today. Went swimming in the in laws pool oh how glorious. Melbourne on the other hand two days ago we had 38 degrees and the air conditioner on and then yesterday we had thunderstorms and needed the heater on this morning before we left home for our holiday. So happy at the moment my in laws are the most wonderful people. I have been so lucky in that respect. So we are expecting a hot hot hot christmas.

Cheers
Rhonda

It is the same here have just been into the garden and it is at least 4 inches deep, and is starting to harden again, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate this weather, it might look pretty from indoors, if we could just fly.

update on the weather

xmas eve i sets out to go to the hosp. for 10.30... scraped all the snow from car, slithered and skidded to the top of the street, got to main road still covered with snow proceeded to skid again so turned round and came home bearing in mind its hilly here and the hosp. is on a v. steep bank and the car park is at the bottom of a hill too... rang them up and they said we can make you another app....... said i would ring them after xmas

then rang my DS to come and fetch me, so by the time he came the main roads werent to bad but he did say there was more snow here than he had in Northumberland..... so felt v. old and decrepid not being able to take myself up to his, but its a first in the 15 years ive not done it. so hes not long fetched me back then him and gf. were off to do some sale shopping...

hope youve all had a great xmas

All of our snow has gone now and it is a bit warmer now - it has been raining today instead of snow.
