Talking Snow Blizzards

Hi Everyone

It's snowing and the winds are high here in Stockton-On-Tees (North East England). What is it like where you are? I am looking out of the window watching it all come down as I am designing sheets. A great crafting day!

now its dark blowing a gale and snowing too....

it always snows heavy in Consett cos we are so high up..
better this week than next for me anyway got some serious driving to do over the hols.

fingers crossed it keeps away or i will be hibernating.

Hi

I live in the North East of Scotland and we havent had any yet. Quite surprising but not complaining as hate driving in it. Mind you we have had some awful winters up here.

A good blizzard is so fun, as long as you have an afghan and some good hot chocolate, along with a good book. Or, alternatively, a computer!

Here in Minnesota it's 12°F (-11°C), and is supposed to get up to 29°F (-2°C) today! Woohoo! It's been so bitterly cold the past couple weeks, that 29° sounds like tropical weather. My poor hubby has been standing out at 6:30 a.m. each morning waiting for the bus, while the windchills are -20°F to -30°F (-29°C to -34°C). My poor hubby.

Right now, no storms coming. Yay!

It has been snowing on and off today, but it has just started coming down heavily now.
I don't envy you your weather, Jolis...it used to be in the minus 20sC when I was growing up in the English/Welsh border area and it was horrendous, we used to wrap scarves round our faces because the air was too cold to breathe and then our scarves got covered in icicles. Also in those days girls were not allowed to wear trousers to school, it was skirts and socks and my knees were red raw ...the good old days, eh?
