Hi Mary:
You have reason to feel angry! We are your friends here and you can get rid of your frustrations any time - we're good listeners. Just kniow you are in my thoughts and prayers - be strong and don't give up. I agree with Julene - perhaps another opinion is in order??? Lots of big hugs and good vibes being sent your way.

Mary my heart aches for you getting that news.
But although this seems hard, try and stay positive and go and get another opinion.
My girlfriend was diagnosed with cancer just over 10 years ago. She had that op and then chemo and was given the all clear about a year later. But she went to the Dr for something else about 6mths later and he did some blood tests and was told she had secondary cancers. Again she had treatments and chemo, and 12 months on after they kept finding more she was told she had no more than 6 mths to live.
But she refused to 'give in' and had more ops, more chemo and also radiation. Dr's kept giving her weeks/mths to live. And this continued for over 8 years. It was only her will to live that we believe kept her going.
Finally sadly she gave in and said she couldn't do any more chemo and refused it. She died then within weeks.
But her determination to not let it beat her kept her going so don't ever give up hope. Go get another opinion, keep the determination to live high on your priority list and don't give up.
I'll keep you in my thoughts and send positive healing wishes your way.
I agree with the others.........if you need to vent or just talk it out then do it. No one here will mind I'm sure. After all anyone of us could be in the same situation.

Vent as much as you want Mary. I guess we could all say.."there but for the Grace of God, go I", but don't give up, I agree with what everyone is saying, get a second opinion and fight my dear, fight, keep a strong will to live and enjoy life. Sending you positive thoughts and lots of huge hugs. Heather xx

Oh Mary I am so sorry. I can't even begin to understand how you must feel. I consider myself so fortunate that my cancer was caught in time, albeit by accident. Do keep positive m'dear, doctor's are often wrong, and a positive attitude can often work wonders in adding extra quality time to your life.
