what is the worst/funniest

thing you have done in crafting.
one of mine was making a card for a lady for her sone 18 birthday and they were giving him money to go paint balling ,so i had to put a money envelope inside.but on the outside she wanted splattered paint all over the card....easy i thought i have seen this done on blue peter.so i got my paint and brush and set about splaterring the card, lol well by the time i was finished there was paint all over the table that i had not covered with paper. all over my face and cloths and all over the window ledge and all up the blinds lol.
i even managed to get some on the card.

another thing that happens often is i will knock my tube of glitter over,so after cursing at it my daughter will rush in to help me pick it all up. Big mistake. because every time we end up having a glitter fight and i walk out looking like a flippin fairy where she has tipped the lot over my head. bit what a laugh we have.

I have spend hours on a card before, and then once its finished gone to stand it up and found that I had the card base the wrong way round when I made it so it opens the wrong way.... you would think I would have learned after doing this once, but nope, have done it about four times! So bad!

Its soooo annoying when you spend ages on something to find out that its wrong!!! Thats when I normally have a strop and go and make a cuppa.

LOL
The stories remind me of making christmas cards at school with my class!
Glitter everywhere, caretaker standing in the doorway looking highly unamused and me tearing my hair out as at least 6 out of 30 cards would be upside down, despite numerous reminders about this

My commonest and most annoying error, is getting hold of a card with liquid pearl drops on that haven't quite set and smearing them all over the card!!!! Agggh! Lost count of the number of times I've done that.

I love using them, but forget they need time to dry!!!!!

I regularly have a card making afternoon at my house for the village. We sit round the table full of all my crafting stuff, with hardly any room left to make our cards. On one occasion one of my friends made a lovely decoupaged card and turned to me to see what I thought of it, I replied "it's lovely your sister will love it", to which she returned "I don't have a sister"
